Which pests do you control?
A broad range including rats, mice, insects, wasps, pigeons and woodworm control.
We deal with all pest in a domestic or commercial environment.
What do you charge?
The charges vary from pest to pest. If your enquiry is of a commercial nature, we will offer a free survey in order to determine the exact nature of your problem. We can normally provide an accurate quote over the phone for domestic work.
How long have you been involved in Pest Control?
We can provide our customers the benefit of many years of experience since 1992 in the Pest Control Business.
Are you qualified to deal with pests?
Yes, all our staff are qualified to level 2 BPCA. We are also affiliated to the BPCA, (British Pest Control Association) which is the organisation that governs our industry, and to Construction Line which is a Department of Trade and industry group of contractors.
Which areas do you cover?
The Pest Company covers the south east of England, including London, Surrey, Sussex and Kent. However we are expanding.

How can you be sure that you will solve my problem?
The Pest Company has access to many methods of controlling pests. We will always use tried and trusted methods, however,
if these are not fully resolving the problem, then we will move onto other methods until we get a result, without charging anything extra!
Do you guarantee your work?
All our domestic work is guaranteed. We are happy to provide you with further details of our guarantees when you contact us.
What hours do you work?
We can come out to you at whatever time suits you. Please bear in mind that prices may vary if we have to visit you outside our normal working hours of 8.30am to 5.30pm.
How long do treatments last?
This varies on the size of the infestation and the kind of pest we are treating. A full explanation is given either prior to treatment starting or during the free survey.
Do you offer free surveys?
Yes we do. However, we find that this is normally applicable to commercial and industrial sites only, as we can give accurate prices for for domestic premises before attending.
Are your vans unmarked?
No, but the vans are discreetly and professionally sign written, for instance we don’t have a revolving rat on the top of the van!
Do your staff carry identity with them?
Yes. All The Pest Company staff are CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checked. Please ask to see identification before allowing anyone to enter your premises. The Pest Company ID includes their photograph, name and our company details.
How soon can you attend after I call you?
We will call you back within 24 hours, and we will endeavour to visit you as soon as possible after that. We will determine the urgency of your problem and book you in accordingly. We normally expect to visit within 24 hours.
Do you use humane methods?
Yes we do. We are using electronic devices more and more, as we find that this is a cleaner method. However, we do still rely on traditional methods and we work closely with our suppliers to ensure that we use the most effective humane rodenticides and insecticides available.
